Seok ran his fingers through his blonde hair, his jacket unzipped as his legs carried him further away from Mason Town in the cool Californian night. His feet ached, but he was too tired to complain. He slid his phone slightly out of his pocket, just checking the time, and then turned it off. It had been just over 40 minutes from when they had left the gas station, and he was the one carrying half of the food they'd bought. He looked over at Joonyeong and smiled to himself, knowing that if he asked that he'd carry what he had.
"It's so quiet..." Seok mumbled after a few minutes, moving onto the grass at the side of the road as he noticed a set of headlights in front. They would have to cross the field soon anyways, to get up to the lake in Haiwee. They had been walking for so long now, over half a day.
